The S.M.AR.T system is a technology that continuously collects information on the health of your device and warn you in case of failure, but it is not foolproof.

This is why a complementary reading test system is essential to check the health of a storage device.

SDC PRO includes surface (hard disk) or block (SSD and other flash devices) test modules to detect failures that may not be spotted by the SMART, so that the IT professional can save the customer’s data and replace the device before it’s too late.

Our developers have created 4 custom reading tests to match the specificities of the diagnosed device (hard disk or flash memory) and the customer’s needs:
